This is an original Alen Manship Telecaster, if you know about Alen’s work already, you understand it’s intrinsic value. If not research/google and educate yourself. Some idiot decided to relic it, but it’s still a great sounding and looking(other than that) guitar! It has a 12” radius neck (I believe) and a compensated nut. Intonation is dead on and I play rocking blues with bends and it stays in tune perfectly. The original owner had it it built with a 52 style Tele maple neck, then he brought a killer Strat neck to Alen with the ebony fret board and wanted the head stock shaped to a Tele-Alen did that. Later, he had his daughter’s name “RAIGAN” inlayed on the 12th fret by an accomplished luthier. Years later he sold it at a local pawn shop, this is where it was purchased and finally to me. He took the guitar back to Alen and had it confirmed that it was his work. The original owner had also finished it this way. Allan told Barry that it sounded phenomenal this way and that he wouldn’t change a thing about it. It has a master volume and master tone. A 4 way pick up selector: Bridge, bridge/neck, neck and the 4th position combines both pickups into a humbucking mode. It has Fender electronics/ neck pickup and a Lindy Fralin bridge. It’s the most awesome and unique Tele I’ve ever played.
