Primary Responsibilities
● Mow, edge, and maintain lawns using commercial-grade equipment
● Maintain landscaped areas, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and borders
● Perform seasonal cleanup, including leaf removal and general grounds maintenance
● Operate, inspect, maintain, and perform basic repairs on trucks, tractors, mowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment
● Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
● Perform general maintenance of estate buildings, including basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work
● Complete handyman projects such as carpentry, painting, and general repairs
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
● Support other maintenance projects as assigned to ensure the estate is maintained to exceptional standards
Qualifications
● Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
● Mechanical aptitude and experience servicing maintenance equipment is highly desirable
● Experience with tractors, trucks, irrigation systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or painting is a strong plus
● Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
● Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $15.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
