Buff Orpington chicks. 2 weeks to 2 months old for sell.
I also have one Orpington / Cochin cross rooster, free to a good home. He's a good rooster. He's not scary. Hens like him. This is an exceptional cross because they're both calmer, gentler breeds. He never offers to attack. He's a good boy. Beautiful bird. I just want him to have a home and not go into a freezer. Good for beginners.
Orpingtons make nice, round hens, that lay brown eggs. Great dispositions.
The chicks range in age from a couple of weeks to a couple of months old.
The youngest ones have been handled the most. There are 20 of them. The hens hatched and raised those. They were so tiny, they walked right out of the coop, so I was catching them and putting them back in every day.
$3.50 little babies
$3 each if you take all 20.
If you have 8 or more of these chicks, they will not need a heat lamp at night.
$4.50 for the bigger babies. I'm not sure how many of them I have. Maybe 8 to 10.
$4.00 each if you buy 6 or more.
They're fine without a heat lamp. They already have feathers and will begin laying eggs at about 5 months of age.
$6.50 for the baby guinea. Raise it with chickens and it will come in at night. They eat ticks, weeds, and attack snakes. They sound an alert when strangers show up. Even if it's just me in a funny hat.
Good dual purpose birds. They mature to about 5 or 6 pounds.
I can meet you and bring a bunch of them in a box so that you can pick and choose the chicks of your choice. The truck stops at Hwy 271 and I-20 is convenient, or the Walmart at Hwy 32 and the loop, or Walmart in Kilgore. Just a public place. I'm flexible.
They're not sexed, but it's noticeable who's getting the bigger combs.
Texts/phone calls/ no voicemails, just call back kater/ no emails/ chat...if I see it.
