We have a 2006 model AQHA mare that is tested homozygous dun and 6 panel Negative! Standing 14.3 hands tall. Spice is a retired reined / ranch cowhorse that we've been using as a broodmare for the last few years. She has all the fancy buttons still. We randomly pulled her out in 2021 and rode her to work some calves for our first time ever riding her and she knows her job well! This mare has phenomenal breeding and is in pasture condition. She has a dent on the top of her rear end from an injury she sustained while at the breeders in 2020, no idea what she backed into or went under, but its old and nicely healed up. Just ugly. A vet check is welcomed at your expense of course. She is easy to handle, loads and backs out, and is an angel for any farrier. Her ground manners are spectacular. She also enjoys bath time and fly spray. While all your others run away from you in the pasture while trying to fly spray, this girl will be running to you for fly control! Lol Spice loves to be a mama, she is easy to live cover or AI. She's taken both times we've bred either. We left her open with plans to breed her to our hz splash 1 stud in the spring but would like to find her a new home instead and downsize the herd. This mare is a diamond in the rough and will make a very nice addition to any breeding program and could easily be made to ride again and work. Either way you'll be getting a bargain on her! For the full asking price up front, we can even throw in a free stud fee contract for 2024 for either of our on-site stallions. We have 2 you can choose from. Our farm is located in Plain Dealing Louisiana, closer to Springhill and the Arkansas Stateline. Only about 45 minutes from Waskom and the east Texas line. Hauling is optional as well, but we would require the fuel up front.
