My family has been in the cattle raising business for 90 years and we have always raised and ate our own beef. I have recently kept and fed out some others for processing. This is quality beef that I have bred, raised, weaned, and fed out to finishing weight myself just like the feed yards. These cattle are not given, antibiotics or growth hormones and have never been sick. They were pasture raised on grass and finished on grain and grass. The lady that said she wanted this steer filled out the cut sheet at the processor and then never payed for the steer or processing. I will take $4.00 a pound for the steer at it's hanging weight of 911 pounds (we can call it 900 pounds to make it even). That is $3,600.00. You will have to pay the processor for the processing fee.
