I raise Whiting True Blues and all white Bresse chickens. The Whitings are the creation of poultry geneticist Dr. Paul Whiting of Colorado. They are outstanding layers of light blue eggs. I tend to keep pewter/blue, black and white splash colored hens, but they can come virtually any color, but all lay light blue eggs. The Bresse chickens originated in France and are very good layers. In addition, they are said to be the very best tasting meat chickens in the world.
Hatching eggs, either breed or mix of each, $25 per dozen. If you do your part, I will guarantee at least 9 chicks per dozen. I personally have an excellent hatch rate with these.
I’m sold out of chicks at the moment. More should be coming soon. Thanks for looking!
